New Moon Protocol – A time for growth and change

Embrace this dynamic time

You can harness your inner energy at any time but the new moon is a particularly powerful time to plant the seeds to manifest your dreams and desires. If you are looking to capitalize on this lunar shift, you need to make room for these new manifestations by letting go of any outdated energies of paradigms.

When you state or write down your intentions they gain power, so I suggest you do both. Your needs, dreams and priorities will change, so it’s a good idea to review where you are and what your focus is at least once a month. Doing it more often will keep you in the energy of action and encourage your growth momentum… as you know, an object in motion stays in motion and it takes more energy to keep you on the path once you lose that drive.

New Moon Blessing

Here is my suggested New Moon Blessing for you to leverage the natural, energetic wave of change.

Begin by setting aside a few minutes each month during the new moon phase to focus on your wishes. This will help give you clarity of mind and fill your heart with promise. There is no better time to get started with newly set goals or planning for your future than during the new moon.

Give yourself at least 20-30 minutes of undisturbed space where you can shut out the external chatter, set your focus and perform your personalized ritual or blessing.

Prepare your sacred space with a candle, incense, smudge, stones, tranquil music etc. (follow what feels right for you – there is no wrong answer).

Take a moment to set your intention and vibration with an opening prayer or blessing. Here’s an example, “I call upon all that I am to be here in this moment. I release all energies that disrupt my natural state of love and stillness and I bless this space that I fully inhabit with my presence.”

Light a candle to represent the awakening and to carry the energy of your intentions and blessing.

Open a notebook or use a piece of paper and begin setting your intention.

“I accept these things into my life now or better for my highest good and for the highest good of all concerned with joy and ease.” Write down as many things as you like. Try not to limit yourself, give yourself permission to want your authentic desires. Include short-term achievable goals, medium goals and long-term desires.

When you achieve something on your list, mark it off and add something new; review this every month. Please note that such wondrous things as happiness, health, love etc. should always remain on your list. Do not mark them off, as you will continue to expand in your capacity to experience them.
